This exhibition sheds light on the powerful gods of Greek mythology.
Depicting the great gods who rule over all, such as the mighty Zeus and the sea god Poseidon, using my unique black and white style.
For this exhibition, as a new approach, I employed deep black backgrounds with different black paint which reveals the weapons and implements that represent the gods by using reflection of light and angle of our eyesight.
Their divine figures stand out with dignity and grandeur against the black background, enchanting us with a unique perspective on the classical world of Greek mythology.
In "Masters of Olympus" emphasis is also placed on the complex and often tumultuous relationships between the gods. The tension of power struggles and control among the three brother gods, the almighty Zeus, the sea god Poseidon, and the underworld god Hades are depicted with deep density on the three large-scale works on the main wall.
These works not only showcase the mythical gods of Olympus, a classic motif, but also aim to honor the enduring appeal of their mythical existence. They pay homage to the timeless legacy of Greek mythology and its universal influence on the world.
I invite you to step into the world of "Masters of Olympus" to experience my depictions of the divine realm.
